The Smash Mate Vision

We know the struggle: gathering four friends for a match can feel harder than splitting an atom.

At Smash Mate, Padel isn’t just a game; it’s 90 minutes of pure dopamine and therapy. We are a Community-first platform using AI to kill the "Need a 4th!" WhatsApp chaos. From matching players by skill level to bringing in world-class coaches from Spain and Argentina, we are turning every match into a "Champions League" experience. We don't just want a platform; we want a tribe that lives and breathes Padel.

The Hybrid Role: The Pulse of the Tribe

We are looking for a hybrid Content & Community Intern. You are the bridge between our digital presence and our physical community. You’ll be on the courts capturing the energy, in the DMs solving player needs, and in the "lab" dreaming up ways to make our community tighter and more sustainable.

1. Content Creation: The "Vibe" Master

• Capture the Cage: Hit the courts and film high-octane Reels, TikToks, and "Point of the Day" clips.
• Storytelling: Turn the "90-minute therapy" session into relatable, viral content.
• Trend Adaptation: Take global Padel trends (and the Spanish/Argentine influence) and give them a unique Smash Mate twist.

2. Community Management: The "Mate" Architect

• Demand Management: Be the go-to person for our players. Whether they need a court, a coach, or that elusive 4th player, you ensure the community feels heard and supported.
• Creative Retention: Propose and execute ideas to bring players closer, think "After-Padel" socials, ranking challenges, or exclusive community "clinics."
• Sustainability: Build strategies to keep players coming back. How do we turn a "one-time player" into a "Smash Mate for life"?
• Feedback Loop: Listen to what the courts are saying and bring those insights back to help us improve the platform.

Who You Are

• A Padelist: At least you played before, preferably playing now.
• Hybrid-Ready: You are a student in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, or Izmir. You’re happy to be at the courts one day and working from your laptop the next.
• A Creative Catalyst: You don't just follow trends; you wonder "How can we make this better for our community?"
• Socially Magnetic: You are a "people person." You can walk onto any court, start a conversation, and make people feel part of the Smash Mate family.
• Video Savvy: You’re a pro with CapCut/VN and have a sharp eye for vertical video aesthetics.
